Candace Owens argued that Democratic candidate Joe Biden was ‘pandering’ by letting Cardi B interview him prior to the presidential election coming this November but the outspoken rapper did not hesitate to clap back at the conservative political activist. As you might be aware, Candace went as far as to call Cardi ‘dumb’ and ‘illiterate’ so it makes sense that she just had to respond in a major way.
It all started with Candace Owens slamming Cardi B’s interview with Joe Biden for Elle magazine.
She insisted that it is ‘one of the biggest insults…This would be akin to Trump saying, ‘I am going to give no interviews’ but he then decided to give an interview to Justin Bieber. It’d be absurd…it is because you are pandering. Joe’s team looks at Cardi’s Instagram, sees millions of followers, and thinks, ‘okay, this is an illiterate person and if I appeal to her who says okurr in the middle of the interview…Black people will vote for me.’ [Which is] Basically saying, ‘Black people are stupid, you are dumb. And you are so foolish.’’
She went on to say that Joe must have been told by others who ‘handle’ him that black people like Cardi which is why he should talk to her.
In response, Cardi B tweeted: ‘Yes you are right I have the number 1 song and I’ve a huge platform and can make millions go vote to get the MAN THAT USED YOU. I do not want to argue with you I really don’t have the time. I honestly feel sorry for you.’
Since most black people didn’t have the spine to admit that @benshapiro was 100% correct about @iamcardib and how her music and platform contributes to the disintegration of black culture and values…here you go. #WAP #SundaySpecial pic.twitter.com/q5QxxX9G4e

Cardi then wrote that Trump supporters had harassed her sister, Hennessy Carolina and her friend but Candance mocked her in another tweet, saying: ‘To clarify — Joe Biden ‘gotta talk’ to you because you have the number one song and Santa Claus was harassing your sister?’
After a couple more back and forth attacks on the platform, Cardi eventually posted an 8 minutes long video in which she elaborated her thoughts on the matter. Make sure to check it out!
